Hey Boys, Check Out My RACK!

Sorry, that was shameful of me, but at least it got you in here, eh? :santa:

After months of pining and daydreaming about having a rack of my very own, my dear parents decided to give me an early birthday present by building one for me! Of course, I already had the plans drawn out and the tubs purchased, I just needed help in the technical department. Dad to the rescue!

It's an 8 level rack that can hold either 8 adult tubs or 16 hatchlings. Currently I only have one adult and 3 hatchlings, but hopefully *fingers crossed* I'll soon be in possession of a pair of corns and a pair of trans-pecos rats.

I used 39 foot ReptiHeat Cable as the heat medium, on a thermostat, of course. The back is pegboard. Tubs are Sterilite. Whoot.

That's an awesome rack!! What fun to have all those empty tubs ready to go!

One of the best presents I ever got was a home-made (REALLY nice) half chicken half pigeon coop.

SWEET rack! I wish I was in a position to rack snakes at the moment... think of the possibilities!

You know... it's one thing for your parents to build you a nice rack. But it's even better that they knew it was for snakes... and still did it. Lol. You must have been a good girl. ;)

As titillating as the thread title was, I (of course) placed my mouse in the area o'er la hyperlink.

I clicked, only to find that the subject at hand was NOT a Harley convention or Mardi Gras, but foundations for keeping and supporting the rack contents, much like a chest.....of drawers.

Did I feel like a boob. But what a creative way to get someone to enter the thread, to be a door knocker, as it were. I was hootering for some time aboutit all.

Nice one, Candace.

But like nuns, I've been told they usually travel in pairs.

:crazy02:

regards,
jazz
(btw, do you ever intend on getting a corn?) :grin01:

Dale, you so crazy...:crazy02:

I am actually awaiting a pair of hatchling corns, if you must know! They will get their own thread with lots of pictures, of course.

As for the rack, thanks everyone, I'm just going crazy thinking of who will end up living in those tubs! And I love my dad for helping, especially since he's afraid of snakes! <3 Dad
