I'm looking to make the enclosure for my snake appear natural as much as possible. I was thinking the addition of a plant would be a good idea, since they provide a good source of clean air inside the tank and add to making the environment in the tank natural. What kind of plant would you guys recommend that is easily obtainable flourishes well and won't harm my california king snake.

Hi,
I would get a Horticulture book or a book and setting up a snake viv. You need to do some research on this matter as some plants can be toxic. We think it is best to use artificial plants. They look very life like and you can get them at any petstore or better yet, we purchase ours at Walmart in the craft section. Hope this helps.
