WOW,,what a difference a big meal makes.I have been feeding my snake 1 pinkie every 4 th night,but with a very small bulge,and next day hunting going on,I decided to try a 2 pinkie feeding.Around 3 months ago I did this,,only to have her regurge 1 of them.
This time everything went well,but it was almost scary how she didn't come out of her warm hide for over 48 hours.I kept looking around to see if she regurged at all,but she kept it all down.
I checked on her last night,and handled her for a while.I'm pretty sure she's due to shed.Her color,and eyes,has dulled practically over night.She is starting to put on some size for SURE :crazy02:

Erm, anyway.
If your snake is not able to handle every 4 day feeds either your husbandry is off or she has a delicate digestive system..
Cut back to every 5 days or so if you keep having problems.
48 hours is a normal digesting time, it actually takes about 3 days for the food to completely digest and pass out. Don't worry if she needs a little extra time on the warm side!

You don't want to feed TOO often and make 'em fat! 'Cause they don't know how to say no to tasty poached mouses (like children with a bag of candy). 5-days is ok for small meals (pinkies-fuzzys-hoppers).

Me personally, I feed once-a-week when there's a bulge, and go up to 5-days if the bulge is slight (until she's ready for the next size). Nibblet's up to 2 fuzzys. In 3 feedings she'll be on hoppers! :licklips:

As far as my little snake goes,,don't worry,my reptile husbandry is up to snuff.
 
Hmmm, I must be missing something because I didn't see anything in your original post that indicated your husbandry wasn't up to snuff. And your spelling and grammar, though they may not be perfect, are a whole lot better than that of some people who post on this forum.

I woudn't worry too much about it...
 
Feeding every four days is a little much. If your snake is handling it with no regurges and normal poops then sure, go ahead with that schedule. If your snake regurges on that schedule though...

then something might be wrong with your husbandry, or you're pushing your snake too hard. When you move up in food item size you should start spacing out your snake's meals anyway.

Hey gwb,,thanks.Yes she is starting to show a bit of growth.She had her second shed yesterday :) .I love it !!!!
