ok first i sheba is a 2.5 foot snow i have had since late Jan. and has never even thought twice bout not eating a mouse. when i got Smeagol a baby anery that has a little more trouble eating i have noticed when i feed her for the second time in a week sheba has come out of her hide and has been expecting a mouse. so is it ok if i feed sheba every 4 days also? or should i just feed her 2 mice in one meal?

and second is it ok to heat up a frozen pinky w/ a unused heat lamp r will that cause it to cook and make it not good for little Smeagol?

hi

Well it shouldn't really be a problem to fed her (the larger snake) either twice per week (every four days or so) or two mice in one sitting. But as they get older they slow down and can quickly gain too much extra weight. But at this point I think your bigger snake won't gain much extra as at 2.5 feet she/he still has some good growing to do yet! Just keep an eye out but it should be fine. :)

As for the heat lamp, yep! I use a heat lamp sometimes, works for my adult mice as well, and sometimes I use a heating pad. They can be cooked but only if you are putting the lamp too close. I'd make sure the lamp is like 6 inches or more away depending on wattage.
