Safe Skin Care Products

Does anyone know if there are any lotions/ moisturizing products that are safe to use with Corns? It's the coldest, driest part of the winter (when the steam grill heaters evaporate all humidity in the apartment). I'm having a devil of a time keeping my snake humid enough, even with a generous soaking pool and a humidifier going in his enclosure all the time. His skin gets a little dry and flaky along the skirt. This tends to happen every winter (when shedding also gets a bit more difficult) but clears right up with the more humid days in spring. I'm wondering though if there is any kind of natural lotion/ oil that would be safe to apply to help keep him moisturized and comfortable (lanolin/ jojoba/ etc)? Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks,
EJ

I don't know of anything you would want to use directly on your snake but maybe provide a humid hide? That or you can switch the bedding to something that might hold mroe humidity than your current substrate. Do you know the current level of humidity in the tank?
