A Few of Our Pigs with Fins

Mrs InsaneOne

I See Snakes...
Our other addiction, one that started long before the snake addiction, has been fish. particularly the koi, goldfish, and cichlids (both African and South American) Last week Tim took a few pics of a couple of our favorite Africans last week, and I thought I'd post them up here and they are the only critters that have not gotten thier five seconds of fame. lol

Here they are:

The Electric Blue... don't ask me the scientific name as I can't pronounce it let alone spell it! lol...

The same blue with a crowd of OB Peacock females and two of our more colorful males:

And a full pic of our oldest/dominant OB Peacock male. He's been with us since '03 and is the father/sire of all the other peacocks from the previous picture. It's is hard to see in the pics, but this bad boy has a purple sheen that streches from face to tail along the side.

That's it for now... I'll try to get some pics of the oscar, the gourami (sp??), and the koi and goldfish out in the pnd later this weekend!

Sweet looking fish. I have always wanted a big collection of fish. I think after I get a house Ill have a big salt water aquarium.

Thanks for the picks.

The hubby caught a pic of his oscar tonight:

This big guy gets so excited during feedings that he nearly jumps out of the aquarium every time! He loves his guppies too...

Neat fish...I love oscars. One house my family lived in when I was kid came with a "house oscar" - he came with the house with care instructions. I always thought he was super cool.
