How Do I Get My Corn's mouth open?

I use my thumb nail. They have a little space at the front that they stick their tong out of, right there you can stick in you finger nail and open it. Once open I use a long skinny stick to keep it open.
Why do you need to look in it's mouth though? checking for infection?

very simple

4 opening the mouth of my corns i just take a folded piece pf paper or a wooden tongue depressor just put it slightly against the mouth and the snake will open it on her on!

When I had to give my snake oral meds, I used a tiny spatula (found it in a five pack at the Dollar Store) to gently open the mouth. It won't hurt the snake if it slips either. Just be gentle.

It depends on the size of your snake. For hatchlings, I use a toothpick. I gently slide it into the side of the mouth, and the snake opens up. For larger snakes, I use a chopstick.

I have used the corner of a credit card before to pry mouths open. I really have only had to do this a couple of times, I was force feeding a reluctant snake that hadn't eaten in a long time and I was worried enough about her to do it. It is stressful for them. If your snake is eating ok, most of the time after they eat they will 'yawn' to realign their jaws. You could probably get a good look then. Are you worried about a mouth infection or something?

i have a Q has anyone used "hydro life" or something similiar to it?? its made for starving, or dehydrated reptiles.. it says it worx for snakes.. but i wanted to see if anyone here has used it before i do.. just in case :>
