Old School Snakeman
Took a jaunt through Withlacootchee State Forest (Florida) this afternoon and evening. One Gopher Tortoise. Two DOA Racers.
And a newbie Banded Water; slightly dehydrated. Very dry until May here so I took him to a flatwoods pond in the forest and turned him lose. It was cool. I dropped him on the shore and he hauled a** toward the water. He stopped on a dime and drank for for about two minutes. Then he hit the water.
