Hi all
I have a couple questions about sheading PLEASE REPLY.

1.My snakes eyes are blue how long do i have till he sheads?

2.My snake loves burroing under the repti-bark will his old skin be under the repti-bark?

3.Can i handle him if not wean can i handle him agin?

1. Should be a few days. His eyes will go back to normal before he sheds.
2. Probably wont be buried because they like to rub on stuff to get thier old skin off.
3. I wouldn't handle until he sheds seeing as how he's really uncomfy in his tight skin right now, but afterwards is ok.
 
shedding

dont worry...you will see wheb it has shed...it will be obvious cause they like to rub their skin onto rocks to get it off...or anything else rough for that matter..., i would not handle the snake(shedding is stressfull enough) so just dont bother the snake untill it has shed and then offer another pray...(unless she poops in the waterplace ofcourse..:))

Yes, the tend to be a little more less active during shed (because they can't see too clearly and it probably itches, or hurts too). Weaker, not too sure, maybe a little unwilling to be touched, and some do exhibit more aggressive behavior during shed (WC snakes especially will coil up and strike during shed if approached).
