I went to school today to take a CPR/First Aid class and found this big fella swimming in the parking lot. :eek1: So I scooped him up into a bucket, intending to move him to the woodlot behind school, but he was frigid! I put him in a 5 gallon with coco substrate in the classroom. He'll be warm, dry and safe there until I can release him on a warmer, sunny day this week.

The lot is so big! He must have hopped all dang night to in order to get to where he was... we're talking toad-miles of pavement around him. And the scary thing is that I would have run him over if I had been just one spot over (and I almost did pull over that way!) So glad I got up early this morning to take this class. :)

Aw, he looks like my Mr. Toad! Mr. Toad says you need to give him a creme brulee cup to use as a soaking tub.
