Well, being able to snap a couple of pics of my T's earlier this week prompted me to get brave. I dove into my Green Bottle Blue's (GBB) cage to clean out some dead cricket shells and decided to move around his cork bark to get him in a good position for pictures. I think it was fat and sassy from feeding yesterday that it didn't want to spaz out and sprint . . . Yes! I was safe!
Here's the pics:
Just for comparison, here's what it looked like in August when I got it:
That adventure was successful, so I decided to get into the Tiger Rumps cage as well. Did some cleaning, bumped a tarantula around to get it out in the open . . .and voila:
As much as I want to get a recent pic of my OBT (Orange Bitey Thing), I am NOT anticipating messing with his home anytime soon . . . Here was arrival day:
I know he's shed at least twice since August, so should be looking really spectacular. They are just so darn fast that I don't dare mess with this one. I think he quite literally caught the first dead cricket I dropped in yesterday in mid air . . .
Thanks for looking!
