Blue beauty galore...

SnakeAround

Formerly Blutengel
Outside pics don't show her blue tinge, the inside pic does. I also liked to take a pic of her slithering back into her viv. She loves it

She measures around 6 feet now, weighed 723 grams in January, so now close to 800 grams I assume. She is my pride!

It must be nice to have a snake who's perfectly willing to go home when the time comes. :)

It really is a shame that her true colours are not coming through in the pics, she is really gorgeous.

but it is true, in the pics she looks grey which she most certainly is not and the one before last pic she looks purple-ish which she is not either.

Great snake Barbara! I give her the highly coveted.....
Gotta know, is she very aggresive? I've heard that they can be hard to handle, and the gloves just made me ask :shrugs:

Nah, I am a wussy for using the glove... last time she bit me was when when she was under 2 feet  But I just feel slightly more comfortable handling her with a glove when she is already up and running when I want to handle her. That way it does take less long which reduces stress for her too.

She hardly ever slithers off when I put my hand close to her, so that is different form corn behaviour in general. She is more curious then aggressive but she might get fed up with me doing what I need in the viv or trying to pick her up and then bite. But probably I also know her quite well now so that has never happened since the 'baby bite' :)
