Question bout drift wood

I was wondering bout driftwood. I have a big brank <store bought> in the corner of my tank. But i llive by the ocean and we get EXTENSIVE amount of drift wood. I was wondering if this could be used if i cleaned it, boiled it then baked it. Anyone know???

Well i presume that it would be fine it you clean it, boil it and bake it. If you do that to it, what could be left on it? There would be no little anmimals/bugs in it. I would say it would be fine. If u arnt sure with any piece, then dont use it, find another.

Ollie :)
