Weird...I bought a bag of hoppers there last week that were about one and a half times the size I expected. I had to go back there the next day for some fuzzies.

I would agree. My last order was from them when The Mouse Factory had a limit on adults that I needed. The sizes are...well lame, compared to what TMF has to offer. The hoppers I was feeding my snakes were the same size as TMF's fuzzies.

first off... relax... your snake will be fine. It is only one meal. you could underfeed (not that I would say to purposfully underfeed) by a size or two even and your snake would not starve or get angry with you. You could feed more frequently to make up for it.
Second- I would have to agree that Big Cheeses sizes are a bit small... but their quality is great.

To be fair, they do have a weight/size chart on their web site. I think most do. Checking out the charts before ordering is a great way to ensure that you receive the correct size.
I learned that the hard way last week. Fortunately, I work down the street from Big Cheese. It would have really sucked if I'd had to pay shipping on both of those orders.

I use Big Cheese and have had awesome success with them. Haven't used TMF, but Big Cheese is local so really don't see a need to try them.

The last thing I want is to get into any sort of debate, but let's not pretend that you've personally heard testimony from every customer TMF's ever had. My statement was merely a generalization to get a point across. To believe that every customer has been 100% satisfied is laughable.

I've bought from Rodent Pro, Big Cheese, and TMF. And I can tell you that TMF blows away the other two. Lore just told you the same thing.
So what I am saying is that I've yet to hear any sort of complaint over the quality of mice that TMF supplies. And I'd say that's something after being here for 3 years and frequently reading the BOI, wouldn't you?
