SMR SG Corn Snake "Rogue"
need enough to last awhile .. I'm worried about buying it from say... a farm supply store as it might have chemicals in it.

not much use to you, but portons pet and aquatic centre sells 15kg bags of it for £10, haha

Check a feed store, as long as it is packaged for pet or horse use it should be fine.

Harlan products are good, in feed and bedding.

If you hop on the Metra and head over to the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, you could pick up a 16 lbb bag for $13 at the All-Animal Expo. :) (And yup, the brand is Harlan...) I'm quite happy with it. :)

I also purchase the Kaytee brand from Petsmart and use it for all of my adults, sub-adults and hatchlings. Very inexpensive, has no aromatic oils, and is kiln baked (kills any possible mites or ticks). I've been VERY impressed by this brand.

I got two large bags of Kaytee also. Nice substrate but it is much more particalized compared to Zoo Med Aspen Snake bedding. But Kaytee costs about 1/12 compared to Zoo Med. I got mine at a pet food store. :crazy02:
