How many and what size binder clips per 32 qt sterilite?

Until the shelves and racks come I was wondering how many binder clips (I think thats what they are) should I use per 32 qt sterilite and what size? I would like to get all the snakes into them tomorrow, so if you could help me out asap that would be great! Thank you, Lindsay :grin01:

Well binder clips pull any size lid closed pretty well I feel.
I have the two inch ones, and one on each of the four sides directly in the middle.

I have a few non-racked 32qt and 66qt (same footprint and lid size as the 32qt) tubs, and I use one large binder clip for each of the four corners on the long sides. The short ends clip already, and even if they didn't, this configuration would still contain a corn snake.

The only way a snake can escape from this is if you put the clips on wrong. I've seen it happen (but not to me ). If you don't clip the lid to the lip of the tub, the snake can escape.

Can someone post a photo of binder clips on tubs? I'm having a hard time picturing this.

Interesting. Thanks for the links! The tubs in my rack are lidless, but I think lids and binder clips would have helped me a couple of weeks ago while I was still trying to figure out how to keep the rack secure. I may have to try that!
