I was wondering what brand and method you guys to heat your corns. I am assuming most of you use UTH but Id like to see what brand you guys use. If you do use a specific brand how do you like it? How reliable is it? You can select multiple options!

Ill start off by saying I have a T-Rex UTH 30-40 Gallon. I have been using it for 1 year along with my Zoo Med Repti-Temp 500 Watt Thermostat w/ Remote Probe. It has been working great!

I have 2 Zoo-Med Under Tank Heaters for my two snake tanks..both 20 gallon tanks..Both UTH's are hooked up to my 500R Repti-Therm thermostat..which for some reason recently has started to act up..the other day it shot up to 112 degrees...for no reason...right now I have it back under control but I'm keeping a careful eye on the temps.. :eek1:

Heat strips running along the back of the rack + habistat pulse stats. Can't fault it at all!

I also use heat mats + mat stats for single setups dotted about the place.

I have two Ultratherms, two Zoo Med and three Exo Terra Desert on my snakes, all with thermostats (two Zoo Med 500R, one Herpstat, one BAH 1000) four with digital probed thermometers on the warm side, one with digital probed thermometer on the warm and cool side, two with Flukers digital temp/humidistat in the viv with a digital probed thermometer bought but not installed.

Nanci

Flexwatt heat panels. I have one tank, my display tank that uses a exoterra basking bulb in a clamp lamp with a dimmer switch.

I use a 100-watt Exo-Terra Ceramic Heat Emitter to keep my cool side at 75 degrees and an Exo-Terra Heat Wave UTH for my warm side.

Regards,
Steve

I question why list so many Heat rocks...
And I now use flexwatt, which isn't listed.

Flexwatt falls under the home-made/self-made UTH :)

I took all of the options from a couple of online repltile suppliers.

Flexwatt heat tape, controlled by either lamp dimmers or herpstat thermostats depending on the setup.

I have 4 enclosures with T-Rex Cobra Heat Mats attached to the side walls, a 4 tier rack with FlexWatt tape, and a 10 tier rack with heat rope.

In my display tanks I use Zoo Med UTH that I regulate the temps with my homemade dimmers, & My rack is an Animal Plastics Economy Rack, that has Heat Cable, which is regulated by a Spyder Robitics Thermostat.

FlexWatt on all racks. ZooMed UTH on dispaly vivs. Combination of UTH and bulbs on the Boa set-ups. All of these are regulated with a BAH-100 Thermostat. These work well for us.

I use flex watt as well, and don't make it myself nor is it made (or assembled) at my home!
I also selected other...
