I just got home a little while ago from Tampa and found all of this going on. Apparently somehow the index.html files in all of my domains on the server got replaced by this single file that displayed that message. I have no idea how that happened, but I contacted my server host and they did a security update on the server.
It was really no big deal, since all of the other files were intact, and I was able to replace the files pretty quickly. Nothing else got compromised or damaged, apparently.

Very likely. The tech contacted me to notify me that he would be working on the system. The upgrade he did updated WHM/Cpanel as well as Apache, would require that the server be rebooted.
I did find out more about this problem, and apparently it is a known exploit that some people in Italy and Greece have been playing around with for about a month or so. It is relatively harmless, and just a nuisance to a server administrator whom would have to replace those index files on all of the domains on a server.
My servers have been updated to the latest versions, and this problem should be history by now.
