New hide for Dante!

DogStar5988

Up all night
I recently switched Dante over to the 20L so of course I had to redecorate. I went to the pet store intending to get some fake vines but ended up buying this fake tree thing with a wooden base and fake moss. So I decided to glue some sticks on it and make it into a new hide for him, but at you can see from the last picture he is avoiding it so far. :grin01:
I baked all the sticks first and used hot glue so it should be ok health wise. ;)

I'm willing to bet he would use it if it was more closed in.When snakes hide,,they want to be HIDDEN !!!!
They like to be able to see out,but don't want you to be able to see in,know what I mean ?
My snake has made her self a new hide,,which she spends as much,if not MORE time tucked away in.I have about 3" of cypress mulch(Forest Floor) in her tank. She has a cave hide and a rock hide. She has a large water dish that now serves as a 3rd hide. When I peek in the tank, all I'll see is about a 1/4" of her snout sticking out.Hey,what every makes her feel safe :grin01:

Your probably right, I'll have to find some more sticks and do I little more gluing to make it more private for him. ;)
