It's typical for people to jump and say one carpet looks like another. Truth is without knowing what lines the snake came from it's hard to tell. Carpet Pythons colors are very varible even within the same cluch. But thank you for your imput. The parents of these snakes were Farmed imports to my breeder in Germany in 1997 from WPNG.

no offense, but i just said that because that snake is like the twin of mine who is a coastal/jungle cross. i'll see if i can find a pic.

Non taken, I hope you didn't take my comment the wrong way. I was only stating that carpets are perhaps the most varible natural snakes and misidentifcations can be easily made. AAR (Autralian Adiction Reptiles) has made names to try and "classify" over 30 natural occuring variations of Jungle Carpets alone.

cool, well i didnt know that. like i said beautiful snakes anyway. i bought my carpet as a jungle but so many people have told me it looks like a coastal/jungle cross that i just went with it. mine seriously is the twin of your snake so maybe mine really is a jungle in which case i didnt grossly overpay for him initially and throw another $600 at him in vet bills for a case of mouthrot (LOOOOOOONG story). anyway....did i say i LOVE your snakes? cuz i do. i wish there were more JCP owners here. later.
