I got two of these little guys yesterday. Fiesty little buggers. I thought I'd take one out for some pics and all kinds of (baby style) chaos ensued. First musking and first snake bite followed right after. Gotta admire his spirit. LOL.

Here's pics of one of them and my terrible wound.
The towel is for all the musk.
What do you all think for names?

Yeah, they look like they're about to every time I open the tubs. They do this funny little twitchy-jumpy dance as I'm looking down at them... Re-reading this I know it makes no sence, but I can't think of a better way to explain it!!

Now are these guys especially psycho or is this just baby behavior? (I bought both my corns as adults!) Any advice on taming them up?

Ah, welcome to the wonderful world of milksnakes! I'd be really surprized if they were _not_ behaving like that. Some people claim they outgrow the psycho behavior in two or three years and act normal. Oh- once they're in their vivs- you may never see them again.

I got Inez (Nelson's) in November. I think I've seen her out two or three times. Her nickname used to be Devil Worm, but she's sort of a porker now, so I can't call her a worm. But there's hope- last time I had her out she forgot to musk. I think that's only about the second or third time ever. She's really touchy about the head and neck- hates to be touched or restrained there. She won't coil and hold onto me- she'll just launch into thin air. So- I don't think handling has had much effect on taming her- she's about 80% as wild as when I got her. To photograph her, she's quite cooperative if I put her in a tree. I've given up on her acting king- or corn-like and have just grown to appreciate the wild, resistant milksnake-ness of her. Good luck with your little guys! Some people have very tame adults. But who cares- they are _so_ pretty.

Yes, they are pretty. And for some reason I really get a kick out of their squirreliness!
Inez gave up biting though I hope? I don't mind for now, but that bite and twist maneuver I got yesterday won't be fun when she gets big!! :grin01:

Inez only bit once- the first week of handling. She'll spew out everything in her, though, the second I pick her up. So Inez is quite calm about being run under the faucet and dried with a towel, whereas my other snakes are sure I am trying to kill them in the rare event they need to be washed. It's Inez's one thing she's cooperative about!
