I've received more rosy boa bites in the last two days than I have colubrid bites in the last year. I fed the four babies for the first time last night, and each one bit me repeatedly when it was their turn. But they treated their pinkies in the same way before promptly consuming them. Tonight I fed Mom, and she got me really good as I carried her from living-tub to feeding-tub. She surprised/startled me so much that I reflexively tossed her into the air after she bit (I'm an idiot). Luckily I caught her, so she could bite me again and again. Then she attacked her f/t like it was going to get away. I appreciate a vigorous feeding response, but these snakes are ridiculous. :grin01:
