Short and Sweet
So I decided today, that I was going to finally do it. I was going to ask out the cute boy in class that talks to me all the time. Just for coffee. Nothing special.
HE"S MARRIED!
Has been for five years - but he wears the ring on the right hand because he got married in germany! I could have died... but he took it well!
So that was my embarrassing moment of the week. :)

ah that stinks..don't worry..there are still plenty of other chances with other guys..heheh..but I don't see why you guys can't go out for coffee as friends.. :shrugs:

you probably made his day ! Don't worry to much about it, if you become better friends, you'll laugh about it one day. :grin01:

He got married very young... at 21! His wife was only 19 when they got married. Now I'm nervous that any guy I approach is going to be married... if they don't wear the ring on the right finger how are you supposed to know!!! :) Its a pretty good story though.

most people would wear the ring on the left hand, but just in case, you can always start a conversation, and somewhere in the convo, slip in, "So, are you in a relationship"?
