It appears that the server I am running this site on has some issues. The network operations center (NOC) that it is located in has been having some severe problems lately, which have torpedoed my server. On March 18th, the server was down for 9 hours. Other minor outages have been noted as well throughout the past weeks.
Much as I hate to do it, and really don't have the time, I must move to another server at another company. The server is being built right at this moment, and should be done today or tomorrow. It will take a couple of days to get the DNS info set up, and once that is done I will begin the migration. So be prepared for it. Once I start with CORNSNAKES.COM, the message board on the old server will be set to a READ ONLY mode, and also block new user registrations to keep that information from being lost when the conversion is in process.
I will try to give you all as much notice as possible, but bear in mind that I am trying to get this done as quickly as possible.
Believe me, I would not do this unless I felt it was absolutely necessary. But the downtime was killing the traffic across all of my sites, and I have to take the steps necessary to make this all reliable and available at all times.
Thanks.
