Sterilite Containers 28qt

Well I finally went out today and bought some more sterilite containers for a new Adult snake rack that I'm working on. My only concern is that when I turn the container upside down on a flat surface there is a 1/16" gap where the hand holds have been built into the container. I'm curoius if there is any way at all an Adult corn could escape through this?

I will try to attatch some photos. Or would it be better to build the unit with the lid on the container. If I did it this way I would have to take the whole container out of the rack and place on a table each time I wanted to feed, instead of just pulling it out like a drawer. Give me your thoughts about this.

Yeah, sterilite redesigned this model to have that stupid gap. I have yearlings in tubs like this and haven't had an escape. With an adult corn nothing to worry about so long as there isn't a huge gap between the whole tub and the next shelf above it.
