High White Cal King X Speckled King F2's!

Well...for some reason a few years ago I got the notion to cross a high white cal king with a long term captive speckled king. I'm not sure why...but I just thought I would. The resulting babies were nice...but nothing out of this world. They were unique in that the high yellow from the speckled king seemed to make it through somewhat....so I thought I'd hang on to 2.2 to see what happens. This year was their year and here are some of the babies I got. Neat little combination, eh? Funny thing is...though...the cool snakes (all of these) came from one pairing and the other pairing looked mostly like the parents. The parents did not show any sign of stripes.

I haven't sexed them yet but I do plan on keeping all the pictured ones if the sex ratios are good. The rest were sold at Daytona.

Great hatchlings, Jeff, any pictures of the grandparents and parents?

Actually...I did some searching...and I did find the original pairing. Now I just need to take pics of the F1's.

Those are some seriously cool intergrades, Jeff. I love that speckled grandparent too.

Yeah...I loved that little guy. Unfortunately, I caught him as an adult and had him for a few years. Lost him just before brumation last year. And I had a female from a close local that was just going to be big enough!
