Maybe it's just me......
....but I wouldn't put her back in with the male until she's back to at least her pre-breeding weight.
As far as brumation goes - some people feel that it is absolutely ESSENTIAL to the breeding health of their snakes. Others say that it is not NECESSARY, but it gives them a break of a few months, when they are not constantly feeding their snakes.
My best friend never has cooled her snakes for brumation, and they are BIG, healthy, 6-year-old Corns that double clutch almost every year with no problems.
So (and here's where I get to your answers), NO, brumation is the 'trigger' for breeding. Yes, your snake WILL breed without brumation. And, yes, your pair will likely breed again this summer if placed together.
I can't speak for others, but, if she were MY snake, I'd let her stay in her own tank until she'd put on some weight, and had a little break from her mate's advances. If she breeds again without having eaten and re-gained proper condition, it COULD be very draining for her.
And, YES, both sexes of snakes can be kept together during brumation without breeding. But, once they are brought out of brumation, it is the natural course of events.
And, as I said, I'd guess that you would be safe to put them back together without expecting breeding, in about October.
Does that help?
I hope that all makes sence.....

...it's early here.
