blue snake sheds no skin?

So my little one went it to blue on Tues, ate a small meal on Weds, and when I went to check on him today he was no longer in blue. His eyes were clear and everything looked fine. So I thought cool, let me find his skin to check and see if it was a clean shed. After picking everything up moving all of the bedding around, rechecking everything, running the bedding through my fingers I come up with nothing. No skin to be found. So either it was an unclean shed and it came off in bits or there is no skin in the viv. I can't see anything that may be skin left over on him. So any ideas? Maybe on how to find the skin bits in the bedding just to make sure he did shed and was not just pulling my leg.

He hasn't shed yet! Typically, after the blue stage, there is a <48 hour clear stage, and then the snake sheds. I bet he sheds within the next 8-12 hours!

Just for reference...Roxanne is closer to 72 hours after "going clear". Just goes to show you, every snake is different. :crazy02:

WHOOOO!!! He shed. I feed him and when I came back a few mintues later he was shedding. His colors look amazing.

yep. I'll get pics tomorrow. I don't want to bother him to much since he just ate. He is a great snake though, does not seem to mind anything. Even the dog running into my room barking and jumping all over my bed did not bother him, he just kept eating that pinkie. I swear I got the best snake!! lol. Sorry but as a first snake I have had no problems with him and I was thinking I was going to so I'm happy.

It does sound like he is making it easy on you. It is always a great feeling when they feed for you!
