Bayonet -Caramel Mot Pre and Post shed

Jessicat

All Pied Everything
The other day I took some pictures of Bayonet, my '06 SMR Caramel Mot. I noted that it looked like the skin was already staring to peel away from her head. I checked on her later that night, and she was shed!

The only time she will sit still for pictures is when she's in shed. :grin01: Bayonet has a lot of spunk!

I had to pin her down like crazy to get this shot.

She looks like she's got some crazy eyes in those first two pics! I'm a sucker for a caramel mot and I should hopefully have one soon. :D Thanks for sharing these pics :)

Thanks guys! When I first got Bayonet she was in shed, so I didn't get to appreciate her true beauty for a few days. Once she did shed I was amazed at the amount and intensity of her yellow. I'm glad the yellow hasn't faded.

Zach, I thought looking at the almost shed pictures was kind of cool in an informative way too. Here's a close up of her head. You can really see the disconnected eye caps. I think that's why she has such a bug eyed look.

Shes gorgeous! I keep looking for a really nice caramel mot and it sucks because I am usually gone all summer and when I get back around late August, pretty much everyone is sold out of them :( . Maybe one day though. I want to find a mate for my motley pos het caramel boy.

I bet you're right. I hadn't thought about the shed playing a role in it.
