Reet Eats

The Rule Of Thirds.
Here's my new female lavender het hypo and diffused, Reet Petite, downing her second feeding since I got her last week.

You can see why lavs were originally called "mocha" - and for size reference, that's an epoxy "mixing cup" that I use as water bowls for hatchlings...the pinky was the smallest I had, and by the last pic, you can see the lump it left. :)

Thanks for looking!

regards,
jazz

Beautiful!

How much did she weigh pre-feeding? My little tiny hypo-lav is 6 grams and pinkies dwarf her too! She manages to eat them though. :grin01:

Mine isn't! Which is ok with me as I tend to like clean patterns on my snakes. :grin01:

Agreed, Elle. I find there are more "irregularites" in the patterns of lavs than most other morphs.

I was once told by Serp that, if you don't have two aztecs to breed together, cross an aztec with a lavender, and you wouldn't be disappointed with the F1s.

But for this lil' darling, all you have to do is look at the hets to know where I'm going with her. ;)

jazz

She's looking great, Dale!

My female keeper from that clutch is even smaller than Reet, but she downs those pinks in no time. :)

Incredible gorgeous youngun!

I think I am getting her sister! Is this a Dean-baby?
I'm so excited!

Such an adorable, & lovely, li'l gal.:)

Funny how one critter can still be adorable even as they eat another critter. :grin01:

Yep, it's a Dean-baby.

Well, Vlad, technically speaking. :)

Then this gorgeous baby is a sister to my girl Javelin!
(Vlad and Helen, yes?)
Who I'm getting on Saturday!

If this is a preview, I'm way beyond psyched!

(Dean sure knows how to grow 'em, eh?)

Thanks for clarifying. I have some odd quirks, but... :grin01:
Quirks or not, at least you give yourself the due diligence.
