TX snake ID help

I'm trying to help someone on another site ID this snake. It was found in Houston. Any ideas? Any help would be great.

My initial guess is that its a young Texas Glossy, but I'm sure there is somebody else on this forum that will beg to differ, and they'll probably be right lol. :rolleyes:

I was looking at this texas snake page and at first I was thinking texas ratsnake but it more closely resembles this Prairie Kingsnake in the first picture...

I think the pattern looks like an hognose. Just wish I could see the face better. :shrugs:

Thanks everyone. I'm pretty certain it is an eastern hognose. I tried blowing up the picture and could see the tip of the nose is turned up. :) Thanks for your help!

Eastern hoggie was my first guess but i couldnt see the nose. The body structure and head pattern looks exactly like an eastern hoggie, but I couldnt see the nose.

If it is an E. Hoggie, I would like to see more photo's. I have never seen one only the western.

This isn't my snake so I have no more pictures of it. I'm sure if you do a google image search, you'll get alot of photos of different locals and color variants.
