Hasen't Pooed in a While?

R.W.

Call me Richard
I fed her an asdult frozen mouse from petco(gourmet rodent) twqo weeks ago and then another one week ago she hasen't pooed between now and the first mouse. :eek1: What could the problem be? I feed her in a seperate tub so I know she's not impacted from the substrate. I know she is getting heat from the uth, heat is actually a little high, still having problems with the rheostat and will be getting thermostat VERY soon. Could it be that the mice aren't big/weigh enough. Someone said that tey usually need to be around 25g, right? Should I see if I can find a right sized rat pup? I'm holding her right now to see if the movement makes anything happen.

R.W.,

Prior to this, has she had regular bowel movements? Have you checked under the substrate or in a hide?

Roxanne, is by no means regular, but when she goes...she goes.

Regards,
Steve

I'm an IDIOT

Of course I would be the not to think to look under the substrate! :headbang:

I feel like a complete moron. :dunce:

Found a nice suprise a minute ago. :puke01: But while I'm at it Would it be okay to give a correctly sized f/t rat pup. Shes an adult around 3-4 feet long. She always seems really hungry after just one mouse and it uusally takes almost a week for her to toilet.

All's well that ends well :)

How much does she weigh, I would go by that more than anything? If needed I would bump up to Jumbo Adult Mice instead of Rat Pups as rats tend to put more fat on your snake than mice.

Regards,
Steve
