Cindy has refused the fuzzies..why? Is it too big or b/c I switched online co. They do have a different smell. *Nicer smell I think* So I tried giving her the large pinks I ordered & she refused them. I had 3 small pinks from the other co. left that I was gonna feed Grason & decided to give them to her & she ate them.
Now what do I do? Will she do this again on next fed? It was 9days after her last fed. She refused at 6days & then she shed & I offered the fuzzies & large pinks again, then had to resort to the 3 small pinks. She seems to be fine, healthy etc.
She struck both the fuzzie & large pink & then she just hovered over them forever, then try to get out of her feeding bowl. UGH my boys eat grt. Dani took the fuzzies no problem & Grason ate her large pink no problem.

Any suggestions or do I just wait til feeding time again & then what? Offer the large pink? Or fuzzie? She's 5mths old & weighs 30g. She's my avatar pic.

Any advice welcomed..

keep trying. Do you just have the one snake to feed them to? You never know, it could be bad mice.
I once bought a 50 pack of hoppers from a new vendor that not one of my snakes would touch. Tried them on mice from another source and they ate just fine. The bad ones didn't smell bad, though they did have a different odor.

Since that incident I have been breeding all my own so never have a problem with "bad" mice =)

I'd try again with, I don't know, a fuzzy and if she doesn't take that, a pink. Really, really hot. It's weird when they want to eat, they just don't want to eat "that." Lila just did that to me on the last feeding.

Thanks guys, Dani ate 2 of the fuzzies & keeped them down & Grason at the large pink & keeped it down. She's doing fine hanging out in her vines. No regurge on anybody. The food she refused the first time while in blue was the small pinks from a different supplier. These fuzzies & large pinks just seem to be better quality..I think. Compared to that crap I got w/ all the broken limbs. Which btw I have to tell you something funny I did put a tail that broke off into the pinkies mouth & feed it to Grason....haha I thought that was pretty cleaver. :grin01: I should just start stuffing their mouths w/ the broken limbs...ugh my stomach hurts....:roflmao: LOL
