are there any corn colorations that are all sterile? my dad breeds kilis(a pretty fish) and sometimes if he mixes too many different 'colors' he ends up with some sterile ones. just wonderin:)
 
yes, i do realize this could also go in genetics issues or morphs, but i but it here anyway. it fit both ;)
 
I seem to remember someone indicating that one of their morph types weren't good breeders, but I couldn't tell you which. I think that it is a fairly common phenomenon in nature, however (hey :) I grew up on a farm).
 
I heard someone mention that some lines of striped males had fertility problems, but I also recall someone saying that outcrossing had helped/solved this problem... I wish I could remember who brought it up so I could point you in their direction...
