A New Hiding Spot Idea

Corn Snakies

(picture above.. Loading) I decided to wash out a bottle with hot water and placed it in the tank to find out what would happen. Well.. It ends up to be a bottled snake! :D

It loves this hiding spot even more than a purchased (pricey) cleaned log. (^_^) I highly recommend it if your snake can fit in one. It cant be happier.

Nice. But can you get the snake out when you need to? And can he get in/out with a mouse in his belly?

yes, the snake is small and rather, i'd cut a hole later if I had to or use a large powerade bottle. XD may be a year before it gets too big for it.

It is a good idea. But I would cut the end off. It would be dangerous if your snake got stuck inside and then you had to cut the end off with the snake inside.

The snake "hides" in it, because it is a tight space that makes him feel safe. I use empty toiet paper rolls and my snakes love them.

Why would a snake hide in a place that doesn't hide it?

Because snakes are not the brightest animals in the world?? I think they go more by how the hide feels. This krait thinks he's hidden...

Bleh, I guess I'm so used to scorpions being photo phobic that I forget snakes don't mind light.

I use the colored disposable tupperwear tubs for one of mine Mine happen to be green for the holidays haha. Once my snake figured out what they were she loves them!
