Hey, I've done my research and 5 days ago i bought my corn she has been feeding well and enjoys being handled.She is using her hiding boxs well and drinking often,but when i reach in to pick her up she is nervous and when i do actually pick her up she struggles and trys to get away.Though when she is out of her viv and on my hands she seems fine again.Does anyone know if i should worry? or is it natural for her to behave like this.Please help, thanks loads and i'll proberly upload some pics in the future. :spinner:

sounds perfectly normal to me :)

Young snakes are often more skittish than the older corns. Normal behavior. Just take her out, and handle her gently :)

Damn i can't right now but im sure i could get some on here soon by the way.Do you know when my corn will get used to me and stop struggling.Thanks
 
Most snakes are skittish when you pick them up they worry your hand is a predator coming to eat them but once they are out of the viv in your hand the realize there is nothing to fear and their curious side takes over.

Don't worry, it's perfectly normal behaviour for a hatchling.(One of mine this year is pure evil and has an incredible strike-rate!). Just be gentle and persistent and she'll learn that you're not going to hurt her.
I tend to only handle the little ones briefly until they are established feeders.
