strongboW

Thanks.
Will it be ok if i use it for my snake? if i clean it owt and what is ur best advice to clean it out? plz replie quickly

If you've got water deposits from chalk, use vinegar to scrub it with. Plenty of elbow grease and lots of rinsing after.Baby-bottle solution can be used to kill any bacteria, then plenty of rinsing again. You'll need an escape-proof lid, like a screen, so the snake can't escape. You'll need a heatmat that will cover 1/3 of the floor space, regulated with a thermostat. Plus a digital thermometer to measure the temperatures.
Ideally you'll set it up and monitor the temps for a few days before getting the snake

OK thanks mate i got a keep it clean reptile solutoion that is a disinfectant for reptiles and other animals Do u think i shld just use that or use vinger then that?

Depends,I've got 'hard' water, so there's a gradual buildup of chalky deposit even after using water conditioner, and vinegar helps remove it:shrugs:

OOOoMMMMGGGG io was cleaning my tank and i hit the left panel with my elbow is there any way of making it secure plz replie quickly thanks

I think you'd be better of investing in a vivarium, at least then you have peace of mind knowing your snake isn't going to escape, or get hurt trying.

If a vivariums a bit too much on the expensive side at the moment (I've just paid £35 for a 1.5ft long one for my baby corn.) You could always get one of the larger 'critter keepers'. About £10 and perfectly sized for a baby corn. Just make sure you have a layer of polystyrene or something that wont melt between the heatmat (If you use one.) and the plastic tank. :)

Even better, use a thermostat to control the heatmat and raise it the critter keeper off it with beermats!

I'd bin it personally, the cost of a large critter keeper or faunarium would probably equal the cost of the sealant and a secure lid

No idea how much locally to you, but the lid for a fish-tank isn't suitable, so you'd still have to get a lid for it or make one:shrugs:
