Sand?

I know they say not to use sand but what about calcium sand?
Its supposed to break down in the system if the animal eats it. I also dont feed the snakes in there cage anyways.

No sand is good in my opinion.

It would probably be okay if the animal ate a grain or two. Put a sticky pinky and it'd be a problem. Plus, there'd be grains getting caught 'tween scales, around the eyes, in the nose.. no good.
