Mouse Factory/Fed Ex

Hi-

Just wondering, I made an order that was suppose to be delivered today and it's not here yet. It's 7:30 pm my time. How late does Fed Ex deliver? I don't have any sort of tracking number. I've called twice and got an answering machine. I know this is great company, but I'm not sure what to do. Thanks for any info.

that's weird, i always get a tracking number and it arrives by 10:30...

I wouldn't worry about it thawing- mine has sat out all day in 95F florida till 6pm and been frozen solid still.

I know Fedex is very busy this time of year and deliver until the truck is empty.

But it is weird that TMF didn't give you a tracking #. They didn't email it to you?

I placed the order over the phone and I don't think I even gave them an email address. She said that most orders aren't delievered until mid to late afternoon. Me or someone has been home all day, keeping an eye out on the porch in case we missed the driver. I guess I'll just have to wait.

I've ordered from TMF many, many times, and I always get a tracking number. I'm not surprised that they're not answering their phone-- business hours are over. It took me three hours to get home from work yesterday, when it usually takes 35 minutes. That storm really screwed up a lot of things in the Northeast. It wouldn't surprise me if it's the cause of your delay.

It'll probably be delivered tomorrow. And even if it was July, the mice would still be frozen (TMF does a great job with dry ice packaging). If something went REALLY wrong, they would make it right anyway. Edna Queen is as professional as they get.

I agree with Dean, Edna really is good. I wouldn't worry about it. I bet its just due to Christmas season. I've seen UPS deliver really late this time of year.

I'm not complaiining, just wondering. I have heard nothing but great things about them. I'm not worried. I'm sure they'll get here at some point. Thanks for the feed back.

Two days ago I had a box of pinkies coming from them that got delayed a day.
They called me and let me know it would be in the next day, and that I should call right away when I get it and simply let them know if anything was not frozen as they would replace it no questions asked.
I didn't think they could possibly arrive frozen and I had hungry snakes atm, but lo and behold, they arrived frozen SOLID! The dry ice was evaporated, but it did it's job.

I wouldn't worry about it.

As far as the tracking number, make sure that you've checked both the email address that is tied to your paypal account as well as any email address you may have used to discuss the order from. If they are different that is. Also check your spam folder as some email accounts throw emails away if the sender is not in your contact list. I have always gotten a tracking number from them the evening it was shipped, and I've made several orders.

OK, I just called Fed Ex. The plane coudn't fly out of TN due to weather. Makes sense, I know it's bad there and it's headed my way. LOL They said they would try to have it here tomorrow. I explained about the contents and asked if they could really try for tomorrow and not have to wait until Monday. He said no problem. At least I can now stop watching the door and start again tomorrow. Hope it gets here tomorrow, tomorrow is feeding day.

Just a follow, up. The package arrived this morning and they were still frozen solid.

Gotta love dry ice!
