It's Jager time!
Freshly shed corn isle boas :) These are quickly becoming my favourites!

They have quite an irridescent shine to them, don't they! Very beautiful Elle and I am glad your little girl finally has a name (and a good one to boot - Clementine is the name of my first cornsnake!)

Man, those are gorgeous, Elle! And those are great shots.

Are those puppy training pads, and are you using them as substrate? I wondered about using them myself, although they're considerably more expensive than newsprint.

Well I wanted something French to go with Beaux, and I was thinking Petite Rouge (little red) but it didn't suit her. Clem is much nicer :)

They are extremely iridescent under the right lighting, and when they go into dark phase :)

I really like these snakes. Very nice!

Thanks! You need to step over to the dark side :)

Wow, Those little Boa's are stunning! Really nice looking pair. congrats.

Thankyou very muchly :)

I feel a life of crime coming on...

Go for it Nanci, you know you want to... look at those eyes! They are screaming out to youuuuu....

Those Boas are really cool! I love Clementine!

Thanks Dave :)

Thanks Dean. They aren't doggy nappies! :p It's just blue roll. You get it in hospitals and stuff... it comes in HUGE rolls and its just like kitchen roll, although its blue and really cheap.

Tempting me to the dark side! I am afraid! (of myself that is ... it might not take too much prodding).
I need to stay strong, I need to stay strong, I need to ... ;)

Noooo! Be weak and pathetic and buy boids!! I got Dean to do it hahahaha :dancer:

I showed these pics, to my husband, and told him of your attempt to luuuuure me to the dark side ... plus, of course, mentioned my liking of these snakes. He didn't really say anything.
So, later, (with a smile) I brought up that he really didn't say anything. He, then, told me that he was afraid. I asked, "of the snakes?". He said "No, of the money for some more snakes"... I guess he, automatically, figured I would be getting them (right now).:grin01:
Truth be told, If I were to get any snakes, that were not ATBs or colubrids, it would, very likely, be these.:) However, I told my husband not to worry as I am not going to be telling him that I need the money "today"... but it may be a possibility later.;)

Fantastic! I'm so proud of youuuu! They are a bit expensive, but you need to remember how rare these guys are! They only have 1 sq mile of natural habitat in the wild. Plus every corn isle in captivity came from only 2 CF litters in the 80's. There were NEVER any more brought in after that as permits closed exporting down from that island.

Slowly but surley they are being scattered around though, and the more people that have success with them, then the more other hobbyists will be able to enjoy them!

Heres a wee picture of the females mumma btw... just to show you what they look like as teeny tiny adults :)

I want one! They're awesome. What phase are they in in those pictures?

Well the male was in light phase when I stared, then I miffed him off enough to push him to dark phase...

The female was neither here nor there... she was in a bit of a bleh phase lol. But shes naturally lighter than the male anyways :)

I really like that they're so differently colored. Geeeze looking at their pictures is making me want to save up all my money in a corn-isle-only fund for a few months and spring for one.

I hope once I eventually decide to get one I can find a provider who has as beautiful examples as yours!

Lovely snakes, beautiful photographers, but no temptation here. I'll stick with my wee corns :D Thanks for sharing yours with us though.
