Most Prolific breeders?

RyanR

Canadian Boa Fanatic.
This is out of snakes and lizards, I got into a debate with a friend, trying to figure out which lizard/snake is the most prolific breeder,

meaning

Breeds the easiest and most often
and has the largest clutches/litters

So, the bigger the clutch/liter, and the more often.. the better..

For snakes i came down to Garter snakes?
And for Lizards, Bearded Dragons

What do you guys think?

Burmese Pythons and Retics can drop some huge clutches and do it year after year and North American water snakes are live birth and drop some very large litters (same...if not more than garters)

i don't know about snakes, but i would agree with dragons. up to 4 clutches from one breeding, each clutch containing normally around 20 eggs, but the largest number recorded is 60 eggs in one clutch, and they breed all year round, although are most "active" after brumation. i would definitely agree with that. lol
