I was just thinking when my snake poops could i then hold her even though it has only been a day?But she has already pooped after a day after feeding ... Very confusing lol
 
Just to be on the safe side id wait 2 days before handling. Nice to see someone else from london. Which area?
 
I wouldn't risk it. I'll even put them back after 48 hours if I detect the slightest trace of a bump. You know the consequence of handling before the snake is finished digesting is it may regurgitate its meal. Doesn't sound that bad- except for the hassle of waiting eight-ten days to feed again. In actuality, one regurge can start a spiral of regurgitation and weight loss and dwindling away until your snake dies. You want to avoid even one regurge at all costs!!!!!
 
I'll bet that poop wasn't the meal you just fed it the day before. And if it was I'll eat my shirt. I will boil my shirt in chicken broth, dust it with paprika and eat it.
