Rehousing ideas

I'm currently keeping my corns in tubs, and will be switching 2 or 3 of my favs into larger glass tanks.
Should I keep a good amount open floor space (vines and trees arournd the sides best for viewing) or give lots of decor (w/lots of places to hide and beautiful display)? Right now, they have only a waterbowl, 2 hides and substrate, kept in dim lighting... pretty spartan in their Sterilites now.
I don't want to "lose" the snakes in a forest barely being able to see 'em. They are Anery, so they will blend in the shadows.

Its really upto you. As long as you keep the basics like 2 hides and water bowl etc. It does not really matter what else you have in there, However tanks do look much better with stuff in them.

The more ground cover and hides you have, the more confident the'll feel about moving around their new environemnt once they've settled in.

Ironically, providing more cover/hides may actually mean that they're out and about more often - you could get to see them more, not less.

I dunno, I just wish I could know beforehand if they'll be cool w/ it. They're gonna see outside the tanks and guessing they'll be stressed and want to escape. I've never kept snakes in display tanks before, just tubs.
I was going to get a python for display, but that's another ball game so instead I decided on 2 or 3 of my corns for that space. Still debating on which ones.
I have a tripod now(Yay) so takin pics today before rehousing any.

I'd choose the most active/outgoing ones for glass vivs. The snakes I have in glass are always really tuned into what I am doing- they come out if they hear me. I don't think they seem stressed at all, which is not to say they don't spend a good deal of time making sure a new route of escape hasn't appeared.

Hope this helps a little.

I've thought about going to tubs for some of my collection, esp. after this summer if I get everything I'm wanting, but my big guy, Kieran, will always be in a glass viv... he's always out watching the activity. Gailleann is the other one that will remain in a glass viv... she loves to lay in her hammock and watch me. Even if she's in the middle of the tub, when she "hears" me come in, she moves her way to the edge and seems to like me to check in with her on a frequent basis.

The other two could care less :)
