i went to the F.I.R.E. expo over the weekend (great show!!!) and bought a small amel born. i also saw bedding made from walnut shell. i asked the man at the booth if that would be ok for corn snakes he said it was but im not sure. i bought it and put it in 2 of my 3 tanks im kind of scared though i havnt found a post specificly mentioning the walnut but some of the other stuff seems pretty scary. is this safe???

I never used it. But I have used aspen bedding, newspaper and repti bark. I like all three the only thing about repti bark it is a little costly but it looks really good.

o.k

walnut is probably fine. It's the cedar that can be poisonous to reptiles. And if you realy think that it s toxic, make sure he dosent eat it.(feed him in a bag or somethn)
