Are these temps ok?

I have a new viv, and after putting the heat mat on one side, the warm side is about 85 and on the cool side 66. Is this ok? Is 66 to cool?

The cool side is a little low, but this time of year, unless you have a heat source on both sides or keep your home uncomfortably warm, you're gonna see temps dipping a bit down on that end. As long as you have multiple hides between the warm and cool sides, your snake will find the spot that suits it best. Here is where a long half- tube, like from paper a roll of paper towels (I think the term "kitchen towel" is what you folks call them) is nice. Put one end over the UTH and have the other end toward the cool end. This will give your snake the ability to curl up in just the right spot and move back and forth as needed while still feeling safe and secure.

Yeah the snake had many hides and toilet roll tubes to hide in :) I have spent out on getting stuff for the viv. They are spread equally over both sides.
