Pinky population explosion!

Kiss My Hearse
When I checked my mice last night I found a single pink in one of the tubs and thought maybe I had missed it when I was culling the day before. I figured I'd get it out today. I looked in today and found that there were now 23 pinks from one female in that tub. She must have just started giving birth last night when I checked on them. I even had to take a pic because that's the most I've seen from any of my girls. There are 23 or 24 pinks, I can't keep good count while they're squirming. Pic later.

Wow, I have the same thing with rats two Moms had around 35-36 pups. One rat I couldn't even tell she was pregnant. It seems like everything is exploding in my house rats, mice and hamsters.

You guys breed for food, right? I don't mind feeding my snake, but I don't know if I could do that... I have kept mice, rats, hamsters... any number of different rodents. I don't think I could pick out a live baby and kill it and feed it and all. That would be too much for me. But, I'm glad some people are able to, or my snakey Kaa wouldn't be able to eat!
