I was planning on getting a crimson corn snake but Kathy Love said that he was a bit feisty, and since this will be my first snake she recommended my other choice which was a normal het amel strip female!
So I am getting her, I have been researching corns all week and am ordering Kathy's book aslo, So I hope I am prepared enough toproperly care for this snake, the good ting is that for the first three days you leave it totaly alone and for the first 3 weeks you hardly mess with it, so i still have research time while my new snake is settling into her new home!!!:dancer:
 
lol it is a normal het amel stripe corn snake not a love snake heh, but i shoul dbe getting her next wednesday from Kathy Love!!! im so excited!

I call all the snakes that come from Kathy, "Love snakes." :) I got a "Love Boa" (ATB) And will end up with some "Love" corns some day just because of the quality of the animal that is produced by her and Bill. I don't think there is a morph called a Love snake, but who knows I could be wrong. LOL.
 
As long as you have researched how to house it properly (temps humidity etc) and have the set up running for a couple of days, so you can fine tune, everything should be fine..
And you can find out the rest as you go along.

Oh I just figured that out after I posted that lol, and yeah that is why I am paying about the same as I am for the snake as I am for the shipping, because I heard that she is the best, and for a snake that I am going to hopefully have for 15-20 years of my life, I want a good one, and I just hope that I can be a good...."Father" figure to her lol :)

I said both, since you live in Ohio (weathr can get cold, right) so you might want to use both at times and suring the night just the UTH. That's what I do.

Yeah I hope to in about 2 years...if i can still get her, cause my dad already got me a snake a sa sruprise...but i am trying to send the moneys till!

I think its cool that you tried so hard to reseach everything before getting a snake, and I think you'll make a great snake owner:)

What did your dad get you? Aren't you getting your snake from Kathy Love anymore?
 
YEah I'm still gonna get That snake from Kathy, cause the snake my dad got me is at his house, but Kathy's will stay at my house lol, and it's a cornsnake, he doesn't know what kind, the owner wasn't sure lol..but nice snake anyway =) but hopefully i will get Kathy's cause i love it!!!
 
lol the other one doesn't seam like mine since I haev to go and "Visit" it... so yeah I will post pics of them(mostly the one form Kathy's) when I get ahold of a digi camera, someone stole mine when I was walking home from school 2 years ago!

Thanks, I hope so, and hopefully I can borrow my moms boyfriends digi camera so i can take and post some pictures!!!
