On the warm side, yes but you might want to raise the temp a little if 76 is the warm then the cold must be something like 70 so raise the temp mine is constantly 88 on warm and 83 on cold.Sorry my post is kinda weird i have my snake in the other hand.
hmm, cause right now my UTH is on and so far the top of the substrate is arround 76 degrees, and I have a heat lamp, so in the day it's fine, but at night I would think that the 70's will be ok????
Night time temps. should be lower than day time temps. I agree with you, if it was day time and the warm side was only 76, yes that would be slightly to cold. But as Chuck is asking about night time temps, i cant see a problem with 76 degrees.
An inch? Man i only use half a inch lol maybe thats how you could raise the temp and my snake still is able to burrow.It is up to you but i'd put in less substrate about half a inch will do!
