I just had to tell you how wonderful you are! Our Little Dani who has ALWAYS been our trouble shedder has had 3 complete sheds, along w/ the others. The 'wet hide' has done wonders for him! He loves it. Cindy has been in blue forever & won't come out of hers..lol
So I had to take pics of his shed tonight & Banana's. I am so proud of their sheds now & they just seem smoother & happier too! The Wet Hide is the best. I love the smell & I enjoy putting it in there. It makes me feel like I'm giving them something that's very natural/nature to them.

Here are my pics & boy has Little Dani gotten HUGE....he's 9mths & 135g!
Daniella just LOVES her Corn!!

Congrats on the one peice sheds ;) Always satisfying, especially when its the direct result of new husbandry techniques :)

Nicely arranged sheds too hehe!

Ooooops I wanted to show the 'wet hides' so viewers could see what I was talkin' bout. Its the tub in their vivs. I normally have a cocunut on that side & a climbing log for Dani, I remove those 2 & replace it w/ the wet hide.
With Banana I just move the coconut since he is smaller than Dani & needs a smaller wet hide.

Here's Dani's

And here's Banana's

I'm gonna try & get a photo of Cindy in hers. She is SO blue, its too funny!! :)

Thanks Tom! LOL I am really proud of them! We got to watch Little Dani last shed, actually shed! It was so amazing. The kids enjoyed it. Ole' hubby ran off to the back room...lol I showed him tonight the sheds & he yelled "get those things away from me!" Still not comin' around! sigh :(
I knew you guys would appreciate them...:)

Excellent! You know who's getting big- Daniella! Choco loves her wet hide, too. Even if it gets completely dried out, she still loves to go in there.

Hey I have a question re the wet hides. When I pull them out can I re-use the moss? I normally have been throwing it out. Then I thought tonight maybe I can dry it out & re-use it again. Any thoughts? Thanks...:)

I wash it and let it dry out. If it looks moldy (almost never) I throw it away. I add in new to have enough. It's so cheap, though.
