Longest Tech Support Call Ever!!

Seven hours later, Dell has my webcam working...I thought I was going to die. I didn't really have plans for it- but I wanted it to work! During the call, I fed all the snakes _and_ did laundry...

I know how you feel there. A few weeks ago I had an 8 hour call with Dell about my laptop.

OMG! Your phone bill must be HUGE and there profits must be HUGE!

And another good thing- my computer finally found my cell phone so I could put some new music on it! That took a couple hours of messing around to accomplish, too!

I can't stand being on the phone for 10 minutes.. how did you manage? LOL

You beat my record of 6 hours ... i was on my cell phone though (don't have a house phone).

That's bad- it was mostly so long because he insisted on DLing a program that I'd already DLed this morning, trying to fix it myself- and then the freaking computer hibernated for some unknown reason, after like an hour of DLing, and had to be shut down and restarted, so he had to use the copy I DLed, anyway. I guess he didn't want to sit on the phone another hour...Thank God for Speaker Phone. It took three tech support people- the third finally fixed it.
